(Try keyword "Women's Fashions" or a ZIP code)

For distinctive shopping, Raleigh smokes with seven major retail regions and assorted shopping centers. A trio of malls hosts more than 450 stores, and two long-time shopping icons -– Cameron Village and North Hills -– have reinvented as Raleigh's revitalized "Midtown." Just inside the beltway, Cameron Village features more than 100 stores, eateries and specialty services within an exclusive covered brick path atmosphere. North Hills, on Six Forks Road, translates to an elegant district with shopping, dining, and entertainment. Featuring original cobblestone lamp-lit streets with 19th century charm, Raleigh's historic City Market houses art galleries, specialty boutiques, and eateries.

The State Farmers Market, on Agriculture Street, provides more than 75 acres of North Carolina produce, plus shops, garden centers, and produce. Ridgewood Shopping Center's two dozen stores include a Whole Foods Market, Eckerd, Marc's Hardware, and Bruegger's Bagels. As the Triangle's only factory outlet center, Morrisville Outlet Mall features more than 30 top brands, a pair of restaurants, and a food court. Triangle Town Center, on Triangle Town Boulevard, opened in 2002 as a hybrid shopping mall with more than 100 stores including Dillard's, Dell Direct, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Crabtree Valley Mall, anchored by Hudson Belk, Hecht's, and Sears, also features retailers from Brooks Brothers and Coach to Sharper Image and Smith Hawkins, with eateries including Kanki Japanese House of Steaks. Cary Towne Center, with Hudson Belk, Dillard's, JCPenney, and Sears, has more than 130 stores and eateries.

Briar Creek Commons, anchored by BJ's Wholesale Club, has Dick's Sporting Goods, Michael's, PetSmart, Target, and Wal-Mart, plus dining and stadium-seating cinema. With more than a dozen eateries, the covered walkway Crossroads Plaza has 70 stores from Best Buy and Marshalls to Old Navy, Just For Feet, and Stein Mart. The White Oaks Crossing of Garner, anchored by Kohl's, also has Pier 1 Imports, Rack Room Shoes, and Target. Fairgrounds Marketplace, on Ridge Road, ranks among the southeast's top markets for home décor, with a huge inventory of one-of-a-kinds in antiques, primitives, collectibles, jewelry, stained glass, and crafts.
